Zeno Rocha is the Chief Product Officer at Liferay Cloud, responsible for crafting the product strategy, shaping the features, and defining the future of DXP Cloud.
His lifelong appreciation for building software and sharing knowledge led him to speak in over 116 talks in 11 countries (see the full list here), Co-Found the BrazilJS Foundation, a non-profit initiative to move and unify the JavaScript community in Brazil and most recently writing a book called "14 Habits of Highly Productive Developers" with the belief that you can learn the most popular frameworks, use the best programming languages, and work at the biggest tech companies, but if you cultivate bad habits, it will be hard for you to become a top developer.
Proud to be a Google Developer Expert since nov/2013. A program by Google who recognizes experienced developers who actively support their communities through frequently speaking at conferences, building open source projects, and mentoring developers and startups.
Becoming an expert means undergoing a stringent evaluation process, as well as being nominated by a Google employee, based on the special contribution they make to their field. The program itself is run by Google, which gives Experts access to valuable know-how and inside information.
When he's not working, he likes running, watching movies, and eating cheese. For this last one, he even created an app for it.
